Overview

The objective of the Resoursea app is to create a versatile platform for knowledge sharing, allowing users to post content, engage in discussions, and exchange ideas. The platform offers features such as customizable profiles, interactive forums, and the ability to earn badges for active participation. Additionally, Resoursea includes a job search function, enabling users to discover employment opportunities nearby. The scope of the project encompasses interface design, feature implementation, and the creation of an engaging user experience that encourages continuous learning and community involvement.

Problem

While numerous platforms facilitate online discussions and knowledge sharing, there is a lack of a unified, community-driven platform that combines these features with personalized user engagement and career opportunities. Existing forums often lack customization, and social networks do not adequately incentivize educational interactions. The proposed Resoursea platform addresses this gap by offering a customizable forum where users can share knowledge, engage in discussions, and earn recognition through badges. Additionally, unlike traditional forums, Resoursea integrates a job-finding feature, enabling users to discover employment opportunities related to their expertise. This combination of features fosters a more engaging, purpose-driven community experience.

Advanced Login System: Powered by Clerk.js, the platform ensures secure and seamless user authentication, providing a smooth and secure login experience.

Global Search Mechanism: The platform features an advanced global search function, enabling users to easily find relevant questions, posts, and discussions across the entire platform.

Comprehensive Knowledge Sharing: Users can explore and contribute to various topics through dedicated sections such as Community, Collections, and Tags. This setup makes it easy to organize and access valuable information.

Question and Answer Interface: The platform’s main interface allows users to view, ask, and answer questions, fostering an environment of collaborative knowledge sharing. The 'All Questions' tab lets users filter and sort through content based on relevance, frequency, and more.

Job Finder: In addition to sharing knowledge, Resoursea includes a 'Find Jobs' section where users can discover employment opportunities relevant to their interests and expertise.

AI-Generated Responses: Resoursea has integrated a feature that allows users to generate AI-powered responses to posts. Although this feature is currently disabled to avoid incurring costs for the OpenAI API, it is designed to enhance user interaction by providing intelligent, context-aware responses.

Customizable Appearance: Users can personalize their experience by adjusting the platform’s interface, ensuring a comfortable and engaging environment.

Tags and Popular Topics: The platform supports the use of tags to organize content effectively. Users can easily navigate through popular topics to find the information most relevant to their needs.
